Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt the butter in a large, deep saucepan.
Add the light whipping cream slowly and whisk. Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the garlic powder, salt, buffalo sauce and shredded cheddar cheese.
Whisk for 5 minutes. Add the cooked pasta and toss to incorporate. Remove from heat.
Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Spoon half of the noodles into the dish. Layer with 3 slices of american cheese and 3 slices of cheddar cheese.
Layer the remainder of the noodles into the dish.
Lay the remaining cheese on top.
Bake covered for 25 minutes.
Baked uncovered for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
