The Mavuno Harvest Story:

During his stay in Kenya while serving as Peace Corps Volunteer, Phil Hughes, was struck with how much harvest from this very poor region was going to waste. He came up with the idea of Mavuno Harvest, to help these farming communities prosper. Using local fruit drying facilities in Uganda and Burkina Faso, harvesters have been able to sell 100% of their harvested fruit, instead of just the 30% they used to sell.

Their dried fruits, which include fruits like mango, pineapple, and jackfruit, are produced from organically grown fruit and have no added sugar or preservatives and are ethically sourced. Everything is USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Direct Trade Certified, and naturally gluten-free.
