Green Mountain Gringo discloses the following information on their website:
Founders Christine and David Hume created a simple, all-natural recipe at their Chester, Vermont farm in 1989. They handpicked fresh produce, chopped and cooked it small batches, and blended it with fragrant spices and herbs. Suddenly they were ladling batch after batch, filling jars with their hand-crafted salsa. Green Mountain Gringo was such a big hit, it was acquired by TW Garner Food Company, who have been committed to producing high quality products since 1929, and have their facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Their product line is Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Kosher, and Certified Vegetarian. The company is required by the FDA to indicate if there is presence of the top 8 allergens. Their products do not contain any allergens, however some are processed on shared equipment. Their salsa is manufactured on a line that produces products with a soy allergen and their tortilla strips are produced on the same line as dairy and seeds, but have no peanut allergens present in the facility or in the product.
