The Garden of Eatin' Story:

Al Jacobson, a visionary who was always several steps ahead of his contemporaries, founded Garden of Eatin’. He first toyed with the idea of becoming a vegetarian as a toddler living on a farm in Pennsylvania when his family ate his favorite playmate, the chicken. Letting his spiritual side guide him to start his own health food company, he let his Bible Bread creation, which is organic whole wheat pita, take the lead. Since then, Garden of Eatin’ has introduced over 20 varieties of all-natural tortilla chips, all of them keeping true to Al’s inspiring outlook on life and healthy snacks.

In 1998, the company was acquired by The Hain Celestial Group, Inc., a natural and organic foods company that has been providing A Healthy Way of Life since 1993. Together they offer products made with organic ingredients with expeller pressed oil, cooked with pure, filtered water that are Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher Certified, and low sodium. They also offer different products that satisfy different dietary needs like Certified Gluten-Free and vegan.
