The Barnana Story:

Barnana began with the theory that the banana is nature’s original energy bar. CEO and founder, Caue Suplicy, grew up in Brazil eating bite size dehydrated bananas, and while training for triathlons, he rediscovered the goodness of this snack.

The bananas they use are raised in South America by indigenous friends in the Amazon jungle and are all Non-GMO Project Verified and laboratory tested. They offer several products to satisfy the needs of various diets including paleo, vegan, kosher, gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free. However, each of their product lines share machinery that also process a combination of either wheat, soy, milk, egg, tree nuts, or peanuts.

The company is Certified B Corporation meaning they meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance as well as accountability and public transparency. Barnana is on a mission to end food waste and are upcycling USDA Organic Certified bananas that would otherwise go to waste because they are too small or too large.
