The Banza Story:

Brothers Brian and Scott Rudolph came up with the idea of healthier food options, after Brian had grown up a picky eater and would constantly stuff himself with bagels, pasta, and chicken nuggets. He learned that cutting down on gluten made him feel better.

Banza (short for garbanzo) products are made from over 90% chickpeas, and are Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, and kosher. Banza works closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of their sourced ingredients and manufacture in their own facility located in California. Their pasta is produced in a dedicated gluten-free facility. Their products contain no added sugars, and most are free of the major food allergens defined by the FDA: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. Featured as a 2015 TIME Magazine 25 best inventions of the year, Banza pasta has double the protein and four times the fiber than traditional pasta.

Their mac and cheese products are the only ones that contain milk, so they are produced and packaged at a separate facility, which has a dedicated allergen storage area for cheese pouches and an allergen preventive control plan.
