In 2002, a small team of dedicated, health-oriented people founded Artisana Organics in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. The company works with local farmers for their raw materials which include local almond and walnut harvesters, as well as global farmers for other ingredients. Their products consist of raw almond butter, cashew butter, coconut butter, pecan butter, walnut butter, and tahini.
Everything produced by Artisana Organics is USDA Organic and preservative-free, with some Non-GMO Project Verified products. Their products are 100% peanut-free from the source to the jar. They are also Certified R.A.W. and C.L.E.A.N., meaning they have a limit of production temperature, and use minimally processed ingredients ensuring products have a high bioavailability of nutrients. They produce for keto, paleo, vegetarian, vegan, and health-conscious life-styles. They produce in small batches, to ensure the quality of the products, and have formed bonds with their local farmers to ensure and encourage the best harvesting practices.
